Who can resist to taste apple strudel? Especially when they give it for free ;)
So, I announce you that Corica Pastries in Indonesia is now shifting to Strudel House Indonesia. I came to one of their branches in Barito area, precisely in front of Pasar Burung Barito and beside Taman Ayodya Kebayoran Baru. You can also find their stores at Plaza Senayan, Plaza Indonesia, and Lippo Mall Puri.
For the strudel, they have it in 3 sizes: Slice, Small, and Pan and 2 flavors: Original Apple Strudel and Blueberry Apple Strudel.
Apple Strudel (Slice IDR 70.000; Small IDR 200.000; Pan IDR 350.000)
Love the crunchy and flaky texture of the puff pastry. Other good thing is the cream is not too sweet. The filling is quite good though I wish for more apple taste in this strudel.
Blueberry Apple Strudel (Slice IDR 70.000; Small IDR 200.000; Pan IDR 350.000)
The blueberry filling adds a bit sour taste to the sweetness, which I like. Still with the crunchy puff pastry which I can't move on and not too sweet cream. It's good!
Other than strudel, Strudel House also offers cakes from Western style ones like pies to our local delights like Lapis Legit, Lapis Prune, and Lapis Surabaya.
Apple Pie Cinnamon (IDR 55.000)
I love this! A good combination of the slightly sweet and sour apple chops, tempting cinnamon scent, and flaky pastry. Apple and cinnamon are indeed soulmate, I think.

This one is too sour for me. Though I love the yellow glaze of its presentation and the chunky apple texture when chewing it.
Banana Chocolate Pie (IDR 55.000)
Last but not least, feel free from any sourness by this sweet, chocolatey, and moist filling inside this pie. Love the moment of taking a spoon of it because the crispy cheese on top will break dramaticly *or I'm the one who being too dramatic here lol*. But really, this Banana Chocolate Pie is worth trying guys. Because yeah it's a reunion of banana, chocolate, and (crispy well-baked) cheese. With proper sweetness and taste balance. What more can you ask for?
After tasting all the delights, Strudel House still gave me a small pack of their Apple Strudel. Thanks a lot for having us and giving all these awesome treats, dear!
